Bare feet are not allowed outside the gym or the pool deck.  You must have sandles, flip flops, etc when going from the gym to the pool and back.

Equipment orders

• Fins, T-shirt, Sweatshirts, mesh bags, caps and towels are in.

Wayside Waves is a recreational swim team for swimmers 5 - 18 years old.  Coaches will create a fun and challenging environment so your swimmer can increase their physical and mental fitness while improving their technical swimming skills.  Our team strives to provide an atmosphere where swimmers can better themselves through hard work and commitment as they develop a healthy attitude toward competition and sportsmanship in a "Team" effort.

Team Apparel and Equipment

Required items

Swim Fins - these will be used almost every day starting 11/2

Team Suit - it is strongly recommended that you have a team suit.  The team suit should only be worn at swim meets.  You should have a separate suit for practices.

T-shirt - each swimmer will get on team t-shirt

Optional Items

Personal swim caps, either latex or silicone

Sweat shirt with your name

Team Towel with your name

T-shirt for yourself or family members

All forms must be in by Wednesday, October 26th

Swimmers Meet Sign up - If you plan on swimming in a meet you must go to the Swimmer Sign-up page and sign up by the Sunday before a meet.  Otherwise you may not be able to swim.

Even if you are not swimming, please fill out the form.

Parent Meet Sign-up - As you know, we need a lot of help from the parents to make our meets run smoothly.  Please go to the Parent Sign-up page and select the jobs you would like to work at meets. 

There will be a cut off date and any families who have not signed up for at least two jobs will be assigned jobs.

Home Meet Food Sale

At each home meet we sell pre-packaged and backed good.  Please volunteer to bring something for our team to sell and raise some money.
